- 剪贴板条目:纯文本、富文本/HTML 摘要、图片、文件名与文件副本(在大小限制内)、混合类型条目;
- 条目元数据:创建/修改时间、内容哈希、来源应用名称、是否置顶、粘贴次数、是否标记为敏感、同步状态等;
- 常用句与组合库内容及其附件路径;
- 界面与行为偏好:快捷键、粘贴模式、悬浮条布局、主题与字号、历史条数上限、缓存容量上限、是否开机启动、是否锁屏暂停采集等;
- 电子邮箱地址;
- 密码的单向哈希(不以明文存储密码);
- 邮箱验证码及其有效期;
- API 访问令牌 / 会话凭证;
- 套餐类型(如月度、季度、年度 Pro)、金额、币种、支付状态与时间;
- 支付渠道标识与交易引用(如 PayPal / Stripe / App Store 相关引用,以实际渠道为准);
- 加密或受保护的备份内容(见第 7 节);
- 附件对象键名、大小、修改时间、所属用户前缀路径及资源占用统计;
- 请求时间、IP 地址、接口路径、HTTP 状态、错误信息、User-Agent 等;
- iCloud:由 Apple 托管;
9. Cookie
- 基础设施与存储:云主机、对象存储、CDN 等服务提供商;
- 通信:事务性邮件服务(用于发送验证码等);

- 操作系统与分发:Apple、Microsoft 等;
- 法律要求:在有权机关合法要求或为保护权利、安全所必需时;
- 本地数据:由您控制,直至删除、清空、超出本地限额被淘汰或卸载;
- 账户与订单:在账户存续期间保存,并在之后于法律、会计、争议解决所需的合理期限内保留;
- 云端备份与附件:在您维持同步/存储且账户有效期间保存;您删除对象、关闭功能或完成账户注销流程后,我们将在合理期限内删除或匿名化(备份系统中可能存在短暂残留);
- 中继队列:为短期传递设计,条目数量有上限,不作为长期存档;

Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 8, 2026
Last updated: August 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how PasteDock (“we”, “us”, or “PasteDock”) collects, uses, stores, shares, transfers, and protects information relating to you. It applies to the PasteDock desktop applications (including macOS and Windows), the website at https://pastedock.wolel.com, and online features for accounts, subscriptions, activation, cloud sync, attachment storage, and cross-device relay (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use features that require processing of the relevant information. Licensing, subscriptions, and liability are addressed in the Terms of Service.
1. Definitions
- Local Data: information stored on your device, including history, snippets, compose lists, media caches, themes, and preferences.
- Account Information: email, password derivatives, verification codes, session tokens, and related authentication data.
- Sync Data: backup payloads, metadata, and attachment objects transferred after you enable sync.
- Relay Content: text temporarily transmitted when you enable cross-device real-time relay.
- Device Identifier: an identifier used for license device limits (on macOS, may be based on the platform UUID), not for advertising.
2. Principles
2.1 Local-first. Core history, snippets, compose lists, and local caches run on your device by default. Clipboard content is not uploaded to servers we control unless you enable login-related online features, sync, relay, or deliberately export/send data.
2.2 Purpose limitation and minimization. We process information only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, fulfill payments and entitlements, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
2.3 No sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information or use clipboard content for targeted advertising profiles.
2.4 Your control. You may pause capture, clear history, delete items, disable sync/relay, sign out, export backups, or contact us regarding account requests.
3. On-device processing (default)
3.1 On macOS, Local Data is primarily stored under your user Application Support directory for PasteDock (history index, image/file caches, themes, sync staging). Windows uses the corresponding local application data locations. Preferences may be stored in platform preference stores (e.g., UserDefaults or equivalents).
3.2 Local Data may include:
- clipboard items: plain text, rich text/HTML summaries, images, file names and file copies (within size limits), mixed items;
- metadata: timestamps, content hashes, source app name, pin state, paste counts, sensitivity flags, sync state;
- snippets and compose library content and attachment paths;
- preferences: hotkeys, paste mode, HUD layout, theme/font size, history limits, cache limits, launch-at-login, pause-on-lock, and similar;
- entitlement cache: App Store subscription status cache, license key and expiry where applicable.
3.3 Local Data is hosted by your device and OS storage. Uninstalling or deleting containers may permanently remove data. We cannot restore Local Data that was never uploaded.
4. Clipboard monitoring, sensitive content, exclusions
4.1 Capture method. The client polls the system pasteboard for changes and reads new content locally to build history, including text, bitmap image data, file URLs/paths, and mixed content.
4.2 Pause and lock screen. You may pause capture. If pause-on-lock is enabled, capture stops while the session is locked.
4.3 Password-manager exclusions. When the frontmost app matches a preset exclusion list (including common password managers such as 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, Dashlane, Keychain Access, KeePassXC, Enpass, NordPass), capture is skipped. Pro users may add custom exclusions. This depends on frontmost app identity and cannot cover all password sources.
4.4 Sensitive blur. When enabled, heuristic rules may mark password-like strings as sensitive and blur them in the UI. Heuristics can false-positive or false-negative and are not a security guarantee.
4.5 Clipboards often contain highly sensitive data. Assess your risk before using shared devices or enabling sync/relay.
5. System permissions
5.1 Accessibility. If you enable auto-paste or HUD interactions (digit quick-select, scroll paging, Esc dismiss while the HUD is visible), the client may request Accessibility permission to simulate paste and intercept limited key/scroll events for that UI. This is not global keylogging.
5.2 Without Accessibility, you can still browse history and paste manually after copying to the system pasteboard.
5.3 Network. The sandboxed client may use outbound network access for account, entitlement checks, sync, uploads/downloads, payment redirects, and related traffic when those features are used.
5.4 Files and bookmarks. User-selected file access and app-scoped bookmarks may be used for import/export and authorized re-access to cached paths.
5.5 iCloud. If enabled, data may sync via Apple’s iCloud infrastructure under Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
5.6 Windows builds may request equivalent OS permissions for the same functional purposes.
6. Information processed for online features
Server-side processing occurs when you register/sign in, purchase or activate membership, enable sync or relay, manage cloud storage, or contact support:
6.1 Account and authentication
- email address;
- one-way password hash (passwords are not stored in plaintext);
- email verification codes and expiry;
- API tokens / session credentials;
- account creation time and verification status.
6.2 Orders, subscriptions, activation
- plan type (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annual Pro), amount, currency, status, timestamps;
- payment-provider references (Apple / PayPal / Stripe as configured);
- license keys, plan, expiry, status, and bound device identifiers (device cap as implemented; currently up to 3 devices).
6.3 Sync and storage metadata
- protected backup payloads (see Section 7);
- object keys, sizes, modification times, user-prefix paths, usage statistics;
- sync update timestamps.
6.4 Relay content
- text submitted for relay, sequence IDs, hashes, and timestamps for de-duplication and incremental fetch.
6.5 Technical and security logs
- request time, IP address, path, status codes, errors, User-Agent;
- rate-limit and abuse-prevention counters.
We do not write full clipboard bodies into public logs or use logs for advertising.
6.6 Support communications
If you email us, we process your contact details, message content, and diagnostic information needed to respond.
6.7 Region AI search
When you use “Region AI Search” with PasteDock built-in AI, the client sends only the text recognized in the selected area to PasteDock servers, which call a third-party AI model (currently DeepSeek) to generate an answer. The text is used for that answer only, is not stored, and daily usage counts are kept for rate limiting by account/IP.
If you choose “Custom provider (BYOK)” in Settings and enter your own API key, requests go directly to your chosen provider; your key and recognized text never pass through PasteDock servers.
7. Sync, storage, and relay
7.1 Optional. Cloud sync, cloud storage, and relay are optional Pro/account features and require your configuration. Signing in does not automatically enable all sync options.
7.2 Destinations may include:
- PasteDock Cloud: backup JSON stored with user-related encryption; attachments uploaded via presigned or authenticated APIs to object storage under per-user prefixes. Pro attachment storage is quota-limited (currently on the order of 100MB, as shown in-product). Content-hash naming may reduce duplicates.
- iCloud: operated by Apple;
- Your custom server: controlled by you or that operator.
7.3 Scope. Portable history, snippets, compose lists, selected settings fields, and associated attachments may be included when readable from cache. Enabling sync means you agree to transfer in-scope content to the chosen destination.
7.4 Real-time relay. When enabled, text may be pushed to a per-user server queue and pulled by your other signed-in devices. Relay text is stored encrypted; queues are length-limited for short-term delivery, not long-term archiving.
7.5 Availability. Online features may be affected by network, maintenance, quotas, rate limits, or third-party infrastructure. Sync is not a guarantee of permanence. Export backups regularly.
8. Accounts, subscriptions, payments, activation
8.1 App Store. For Apple purchases, billing, tax, refunds, and family sharing are primarily handled by Apple. We validate entitlements via StoreKit and may receive limited transaction/product identifiers, not full card numbers.
8.2 Other channels. Where enabled, PayPal, Stripe, or similar processors handle payment credentials; we retain order, plan, status, and fulfillment references.
8.3 License binding. Activation submits a key and device identifier. The server enforces device limits; new activations may fail when the limit is reached.
8.4 Canceling a subscription does not delete local history; deleting local data does not cancel a subscription or create a refund.
9. Cookies and website
The website provides product information, support, policies, static assets, and payment return pages. Essential cookies or local storage may remember language preferences. We do not operate third-party advertising SDKs on the site for cross-site behavioral ads. Payment providers may set their own cookies.
10. Sharing and processors
10.1 We do not sell personal information. Sharing or processing occurs only for:
- infrastructure and object storage providers;
- transactional email providers (e.g., verification codes);
- payment processors (Apple, PayPal, Stripe, as applicable);
- OS and distribution platforms;
- legal compliance or protection of rights and safety;
- business transfers permitted by law.
10.2 Third parties process data under their policies and our instructions where applicable. iCloud and self-hosted servers are also governed by their own rules.
10.3 Core product paths, as implemented, do not integrate third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. If crash reporting or aggregated analytics are added later, this Policy will be updated.
11. International transfers
Using PasteDock Cloud or related infrastructure may transfer data outside your country. We apply safeguards required by applicable law. Enabling those features means you understand and agree to such transfers.
12. Retention
- Local Data: until you delete it, it is pruned by limits, or you uninstall;
- Accounts and orders: for the life of the account and a reasonable period thereafter for legal, accounting, or disputes;
- Cloud backups and attachments: while features remain enabled and the account is active; after deletion, disablement, or account closure, deletion/anonymization occurs within a reasonable period (backup residual lag may apply);
- Relay queues: short-term, length-limited;
- Logs: only as long as needed for security and operations.
13. Security
We use measures appropriate to risk, including HTTPS, password hashing, token authentication, rate limiting, per-user isolation, encrypted backup storage, and additional admin authentication controls. No measure is perfect. Use strong passwords, protect tokens and license keys, sign out on shared devices, and keep software updated.
14. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may access or correct basic account data, export or delete local data, disable sync/relay, manage subscriptions via the relevant store/payment channel, request cloud file deletion or account closure (identity verification may be required; some data may be retained for legal or anti-fraud purposes), and contact us with questions.
Email support@wolel.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
15. Children
The Service is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children. If you believe a child provided personal information without consent, contact us and we will review and address the matter as required by law.
16. Automated decisions and advertising
We do not make automated decisions based on clipboard content that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell personal information or use clipboard content for cross-app targeted ads.
17. Changes
We may update this Policy and will post the revised version with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide notice by website, in-app notice, or email where reasonably practicable. Continued use after an update means you are aware of the revised Policy. If you disagree, stop using the relevant features and contact us.
